Slow and resource heavy

  • As mentioned by a previous review this plugin has a large impact on site speed and also caused time out issues in the backend. I don’t recommend using this plugin.

    Sorry you had a poor experience with Custom Sidebars. We’re working on improving the performance. Once that update is out we’ll post back here in-case you’re interested in giving it another shot ??

    By the way, how many sidebars did you have setup?

    Only six sidebars. I looked into it further and the slow down is caused by the use of session_start within the plugin.
