• Regardless of the permissions you set for users, they are able to post, comment and have full access.

The only way I was able to get around this was to limit user roles from accessing pages using another plugin.

Support was unhelpful, slow and left my problem completely unresolved. Will not be subscribing the following year.

    Do not buy, very broken.

    Hi Evan,

Sorry about the unhelpful support experience. We should’ve been straight up about the UsersWP Frontend Post’s purpose – it’s a very simple plugin designed to let regular users (like subscribers) easily submit posts. It is role-agnostic. If they’d explained that right off, it would’ve saved you time and spared us a negative review.

Just so you know, if you need a solid way to restrict the frontend submission page to specific roles, you might want to check out this plugin: Content Control. It’s pretty useful for that purpose.

We’re working on adding similar features to UsersWP. We’re also aiming to include functionality for site admins to accept payments for registrations through GetPaid. It’s in the works, but not ready just yet.

Again, our apologies for the frustration this caused.
