Slow backend – there are to many authors

  • Every time I open a post wordpress loads every persons name that has subscribed to my blog and it takes forever to do anything in the backend. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Maybe there’s a way I can make the author option pick from a short list of my admin’s names, code it in?
