Slow Db Queries

  • Hello,

using the query monitor plugin we have identified that each and every page called in the back-end of wordpress has this slow query:

WHERE <code>option_name</code> = '_transient_timeout_villatheme_call'

Why is your standard plugin calling (presumably and external HTTP or API call to update the db with a value) on each and every page?

Actually why does it need that call in the first place? Its slowing one of our site down considerably...

Can you please advise and fix?
