    In the last week (so I am assuming since the most recent update of the plugin), the display of post or page lists in the admin section is very slow, each item taking up to 5 seconds to appear. When I deactivated WP Statistics, the lists display instantly. I’m a little surprised no one else has reported this, because I don’t think my site is that unusual. Hopefully someone has a suggestion, or there is another update on the way soon that will deal with the problem.

    Hi @westham60

    Thank you for opening the thread.

    Please disable the “Views Column in Content List” option in the path Statistics – Settings – Basic Tracking and check if the loading of page or post pages is still slow?

    Also, please let us know if you are using the Add-on Mini Chart.

    We look forward to hearing the results from you.

    Thanks Amir for your quick reply.

    I can confirm that disabling the Views Column in Content List does allow the post/page lists to be displayed instantly. And no, that plugin is not used.

    Thank you for reporting this issue. We are aware of the performance slowdown after the latest update and have a plan in place to improve this in version 15.

    Currently, the plugin uses WordPress Object Cache, which isn’t persistent by default. You can enable persistent caching by adding the following to your wp-config.php file:

    define('WP_CACHE', true);

    In the next release, we’ll be switching to the Transients API, which will handle persistent caching automatically without any additional steps. You can check out the progress of this change here.

    Let me know if you have any further questions.

    Hi @westham60,

    We have just released version 14.10.2, which addresses the caching performance.

    Please update the plugin to the latest version, and feel free to reach out if you encounter any further issues.

    Thank you for your patience and understanding!

    Regards
