• My quiz has 200 questions.

The tests were performed on the same site, first with the old plugin, then with the updated one using two different memory limit settings*.

Note: actually, increasing memory limit doesn’t increase the speed of calculations but rather increase the chances for they to be finished at all.

    Here are the screenshots.

    a) 2.0.4, memory limit = 128M (standard)
    https://www.screencast.com/t/e9ge1GDd8

Note: sometimes it breaks but not too often

    b) 2.0.4, memory limit = 512M (increased)
    https://www.screencast.com/t/Jdu0uzYgu

    c) 2.1.5.5, memory limit = 128M (standard)
    https://www.screencast.com/t/sHjm1pL8MfQ

Note: it stopped working at all

    d) 2.1.5.5, memory limit = 512M (increased)
    https://www.screencast.com/t/xCgjvoMX5

    Conclusion.

As expected the new plugin just made the things worse. It seems, you constantly add things which unreasonably spend computer resources.

    Hi,

Seem like you’re using eduma theme? If so, please update theme eduma 3.0.3 in order that resolve current problems.

Yes, I tried the new theme. It didn’t solve problems. It just changed design.

To tell you the truth, I don’t understand how the theme can change plugin issues.

So, I had to downgrade the theme (to 2.6.2) and the plugin (to 2.0.4) in order it to work as before.

But EVEN THIS performance (as shown in A and B) is considered terrible by my customer.

    This is what he wrote:

    “The students are annoyed now.

Plugin makes them spend 3-4 hrs for a 2 hrs quiz.

Yesterday 48 students said they won’t wait this long for one mock test
    all of them said NO.”

    Hi,

Could you please discuss with us at forum https://thimpress.com/forums/forum/plugins/learnpress-plugin/, we’ll check and reply faster? If possible, we need url site to check.

    Regards,

    Hien Phan.
