Hi! I have had a problem with WPSHOPIFY “Add To Cart” button loading, over slow connections. I decided to compare it with SHOPIFY’S “Buy Button” and it has no problem loading. I am speaking specifically about the buttons, not images or pricing. When using only the “Add To Cart” button with one variable button, sometimes is does not load. However, Shopify Buy Buttons have no problem loading over slow connections. Is there anything that can be done so that the buttons do not get hung up on slow connections, many times they do not load at all. Thanks!

Here is the code I am using, to load only the buttons.

    [wps_products excludes=”images, description, title, pricing” hide_quantity=”true” add_to_cart_button_color=”#ff6d00″ variant_button_color=”#ffaa48″ product_id=”xxxx”]

What is your Products per page value set to within the plugin settings? You can find this under WP Shopify – Settings – General

This is a one product page. I am only showing (1) product per page.

However, now I think there is a much BIGGER problem. I have been using a heat map on my page, which also records users movement. The buttons are not loading AT ALL on many, many users. Reason? Chrome is showing a iFrame security box. Users do not even see the buttons and do not allow the iFrame to open, because they have no idea what it is.

I think this issue is much more problematic than the slow loading, in relation to Shopify’s Buy Button speed.

If you deactivate all your other plugins, does the iFrame issue go away?

My plugin doesn’t implement any iFrames, so it must be coming from either another plugin, your theme, or somewhere else.

Are you still loading the Shopify’s Buy Button embed code anywhere? This does use iFrames which would be my guess as to it’s origins.

Yes, you were right. It was coming from the Shopify plugin. Seems I have resolved the problem. BUTTONS ARE LOADING MUCH FASTER NOW!!!!

Keep up the good work! Thanks for your support.
