    Hi!

Looking at the waterfall, the pixel is really slow loaded and decreasing my site’s loading time (except from the other loaded pixels which also has various loading times).
I am using WP- Rocket which leverage browser caching time for the Facebook app but when not enabled the loading time is still the same.

How can I improve the pixel loading time?

  • Hey @yarintosh,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Our team is currently working on an update that will move much of the Facebook pixel tracking out of the browser, and will instead use server-side tracking. This should improve the reliability and performance of pixel tracking, so I think that will likely address your concerns raised here! That update should be available in the next couple of weeks. If that won’t work for you, though, I’d be happy to chat with my team to see if there are any other options that might be helpful in the meantime – please let me know if you’d like me to investigate that further for you, or if you’d prefer to wait for the upcoming release!

    Cheers!

Hi Lindsey, thank you for your reply.

It sounds like the upcoming updates should help, but if it will be minimum of few weeks until they are up on the air then I would appreciate it if the team could have a further look on my website, trying to find a way to improve the situation until then.

    Thank you!

One more thing, I’ve had purchases on my site but I only see Initiate Checkout active, No Purchased trigger was initiated.
Does the plugin adds a Purchased trigger also or do I need to add manually?

I am using PayPal Checkout for Woocommerce and after a purchase the client is redirected the Standard after purchase Order Details of woocommerce in my website.

    Hey @yarintosh,

Hmm, I don’t believe you should need to add anything manually for the Purchase trigger. At this point, it may be worth us taking a closer look at your site to see if we can identify the cause of this problem. Could you please contact us directly so we can investigate this problem in more detail?

    Cheers!
    Lindsey
