Our website Model-kits.nl had a long time already slow loading product and single product pages.
We want to speed this up.
We have already optimize the thumbnail photos and make them so small as possible.
But we didn’t know of that is good enough.
Our size of photos are 600×600 and compressed.
We use smart image resize plugin.
Our photos are very small, most of them are 35kb.

If there is anything we can do more about a faster loading speed, also for google, let us know.
For now we did a Google speed test, that was bad.

    Hi,

Switch to a serious hoster that uses Litespeed instead of nginx.
Make sure that this hoster doesn’t restrict the use of Litespeed’s various functions (crawler, for example).
Have a look at this page:
    Litespeed hosting providers

It’ll be ‘night and day’ …

    I love your scale models.

    Best regards

    We have ManagedWPHosting.
In the link you send there is already ManagedWPHosting with Litespeed.

But your webserver does NOT use Litespeed.
That’s nginx server, significantly less powerful than Litespeed.

And, moreover, you don’t use a cache. So, yes, it’s slow.

Ask them to switch to Litespeed server, install LS wordpress plugin, work on css and js optimization, use a crawler for cache warming … and your website will be transformed !

The ideal is to create a backstage website, test some features and configurations and then apply on your production website.
There’s a lot of work to be done to achieve a well-optimized configuration with Litespeed, but it’s worth the effort !

Your scale models made me dream for the day …!

    Thank you for the information.
My webhost have a build-in cache, that is also showing on my admin area.
I ask them if they can change me to Litespeed server.
    Thank you! ??

    Hummm… if they say so…

Once again, switching from http2/Nginx to http3/Litespeed changes everything.
Once your hoster has switched your server, don’t forget to install the Litespeed plugin to control all this,
And last but not least, I don’t work for them.
