Slow mobile pages

    Hello,

    I am using Newspaper theme which is great and fast theme if it is optimized.
    I have PageSpeed Insights score
    mobile 88-95
    desktop : above 90

    Here is testing for wpDiscuz

    Without wpDiscuz:
    Mobile score: 88, 91, 94
    Desktop: 91, 98, 97

    With wpDiscuz:
    Load Rich Editor: Only Desktop
    Comment List Loading Type: Display [View Comments] button
    Mobile score: 50, 70, 83
    Desktop score: 95

    With turned AJAX loading
    Load Rich Editor: Only Desktop
    Comment List Loading Type: Initiate AJAX loading after page
    Mobile score: 50-58
    Desktop: 83-89

    I use mobile-specific theme in Newspaper that has separate theme for mobile.
    Mobile pages are drastically slower with selected option “Initiate AJAX loading after page”

    Any suggestion hot to configure wpDiscuz.
    I am not sure does Google bot sees comments with selected option: “Display [View Comments] button”. I doubt that.

    I am on Litespeed server and I use Litespeed cache and it has option “Cache Mobile” – Serve a separate cache copy for mobile visitors.

    wpDiscuz has great reviews and I would like to buy bundle for my sites but I can’t sacrifice speed.

    I am aware that Pagespeed Insight is lab test but it is very clear difference in page speed.

    Thank you for a quick replay and suggestion.

    I’ve already optimized plugin.

    1. Limit the number of displayed comments – DONE BEFORE (I don’t have comments on pages at the moment)

    2. Initiate AJAX loading after page / Load more – DONE BEFORE

    3. Display only parent comments and [view replies ∨] button – DONE NOW

    4. Minify and Combine JS and CSS Files – BOTH DONE BEFORE

    5. Comment and User Cache – DONE BEFORE

    My site now uses Cloudflare cache.

    PSI is not working at the moment. Some global problem.

    Score on https://gtmetrix.com/

    Without plugin
    GTmetrix Grade A
    Performance Score 93% +10% (It goes up to 96%)

    With plugin
    GTmetrix Grade B
    Performance Score 84 (goes up 90%)

    Does paid plugin has additional caching features?

    Hello, I’m trying to figure out why my site takes 17 SECONDS TO LOAD ON MOBILE.

    I use osetin pluto theme, I installed fastest cache and I’ve optimized all the images.

    There seem to be some youtube-nocookie script that’s slowing the site down. In the home page I have 10 blog posts with youtube preview. Can this be the problem?

    Solved by uninstalling two plugins that caused the problem
