SLow notification on GoDaddy

    My comment and other notifications take 1hr+ to get from my 2.7 install to my inbox. I know it’s not my mail because other users with different mail services are having the same problem.

    I’m hosted by GoDaddy and they’re support said it was a WordPress issue which I’m not buying.

    Any tips?

  • We had the same problem with slow emails from godaddy.
    After our site got more active with members they started saying how the site would load slow.

    We moved to a different hosting company and that took care of both problems.

    Thanks. That’s what I thought it was.

    GoDaddy is VERY good at assigning blame to anyone but themselves. They oversell their hosting and their servers cannot keep up. How in the world they could even imply that slow email delivery is a WP issue is beyond comprehension.

    Oh – did I mention GoDaddy sucks?
