    Hi,

I notice that the page loads are much slower when I log in as a user (admin or woocommerce client).

This whether I enable caching of logged in users or not…

Logged in users get also cached pages and the speed is the same, but the cache for logged in users is private. That means that every logged in user has his own private cache.

Thank you… But precisely, the speed is not the same depending on whether the user is logged in or not (the pages load instantly if the user is not logged in… but it takes longer when he is connected).

If a page isn’t cached it doesn’t matter if a user is logged in or not. The same with connection (What do you mean with connection?), but there may be difference if you have ESI enabled. Otherwise there is no difference. Login and request a URL twice and you will see no difference.

    Sorry… I test again and it’s ok now…

    Hi,

I am resuming this post because when a user is connected to the site (either as an admin or as a woocommerce client), the pages actually load more slowly, as you can see on this short video: https://un-jardin-bio.com/tmp/slower-page-loading-logged-in-user.mp4

There is certainly a second menu that appears in this case, but I doubt that this really explains this difference (perhaps for the first page loaded… but not after).

I specify that ESI is deactivated… but was activated before…

    Thanks for any constructive help.

As already said, logged in users have private cache and private cache means each user has its own cache copy and if a URL isn’t cached users have no advantage from the cache. A URL must requested twice by the same user to make a URL cached.

Ok, but, in the litespeed cache settings, I didn’t activate the caching of logged-in users (I had just noticed that the pages were loading even more slowly…).

If you have not activated caching for registered users, then it is logical that the loading time is significantly longer. In case you don’t already know. Caching makes loading time fast and not page optimizations. You should therefore reactivate caching for logged-in users.

Ok… I must have made a mistake… because I just reactivated caching for logged-in users… and apart from the first page load, after that it loads faster .
Thank you for your help which allowed me to solve this problem!
