Slow Pagespeed due to fonts loading

    I’ve tried emailing the direct AMPforWP support team but they are really struggling to grasp the issue I’m facing.

    The fonts take up most of the PageSpeed / weight.

    Pagespeed insights show it takes up 678 KB or the total 986 KB. This led to a Google PageSpeed insights score of 50 out of 100.

    I then enabled the Google fonts by hooking it up with my API key and it improved to 77 out of 100 by reducing it to 300kb.

    Given I am using AMP to make my site super fast, is there a better way to be loading these fonts? Even after optimising with Google fonts it seems crazy that 300kb of my page load is being taken up by fonts on every refresh. Can this be served through Cloudflare or can you make updates to improve this?
