• Hi,
We have over 2000 pages and find that loading the listing and dragging/dropping pages is very slow. After each operation we have to wait several seconds for the browser to unfreeze. Is there a way to speed this up?

    Thanks,
    Chris

  • As far as I know, the only way to speed up that refresh is to upgrade your PHP to the latest supported. There isn’t an async load in this plugin (yet), so it becomes unusable when your posts get into the thousands.

I can deal with slow refresh but Nested Pages isnt displaying for me at all.

I also have over 2000 pages

We have about 3,700 pages and this plugin works. We are using WordPress CORE 5.9 and PHP 8. However, CMS Tree Page View plugin loads our page tree view much more quickly asynchronously. Is async on the roadmap for this plugin? It would be cool to have a way to financially sponsor a specific feature.

1,100 pages on WordPress 5.9 and PHP 7. Sync Page Order times out on every attempt, so I can’t rely on “menu_order” at all, and have resorted to creating multiple smaller menus in favour of using the master Nested Pages menu.

Would also love to support a larger page count feature.
