I’m kind of a newbie, and I need some counseling, please.

Blog hasn’t launched yet; it’s currently set as private/hidden. I’ve collected things I’ve written over the last several years, and created a blog post for each one; there’s about 30, so far. My goal is for these posts NOT to be added to the blog YET. Once the blog is launched, I’d like it to be a mixture of CURRENT blog entries, interspersed with an occasional post from my “stash” of pre-written posts.

I’d be extremely grateful for some idea how to achieve this. THANKS!!

Set all of the posts as drafts and publish them whenever you’re ready. If you’ve got about thirty posts, just open up the posts screen, tick the posts you want to set as drafts and select “Edit” from the “Bulk Actions” menu. Then set their status as “Draft”. Then, when you want a post to appear in your blog, just publish it the normal way.

You can also schedule those draft posts to be published automatically. Just open up a post and click “edit” next to “Publish immediately”. Add the desired date and time and then hit the “Schedule” button.
