Slow replacing files since 4.0

    Since updating to 4.0, I’ve notice the time it takes to replace a file has increased; perhaps 2 or 3 times longer than in the previous version. I don’t have any records to show the difference, but I have noticed that when replacing a number of files (3 or 4), the “Program Executions” and “CPU seconds” information recorded by Siteground stats seems to peak to 1000 executions and 1500 CPU seconds. This previously was not the case.

    As I mentioned I have no records to show the difference, it works, and I’m sure there are many things that might cause this, possibly Siteground Optimizer or the security software I have installed. I just wanted to post here in case others have noticed something similar.
