    I also noted that when ever I activate the plugin my site page load becomes slow at times I receive this error

    Gateway Timeout
    The gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application.

    The plugin polls a static file on the server, in the case f browsers that do not have the offline api.

    This will create some extra server load but if you are getting timmeouts that is symptomatic of other problems with your hosting (ie a likely the trigger rather than the cause)

    I am resolving this for good order.But will still monitor the thread.
