Slow Response While Editing

We didn’t encounter similar complaints recently. This issue may be something specific to your installation.

Can you test the page editing performance while only Editor Plus and the Twenty Twenty One theme are active?

No, it did not work.

At first, it seemed to work. But after I added few blocks, it went so slow. In fact, after every single click or alphabet it hangs for not few seconds but many minutes.

Moreover, it did not give desired output on page. Even visuals at time of edition are not what I see on final page after publishing.

I want to beat myself for I made many attempts to create a page as simple as this https://joyloan.in/personal-loan/ https://joyloan.in/pl-again , pl-2, pl-new, and few more.

Because of hanging it took me more than one day for every such attempt. I hurt my back for 5 days every day thinking it will finish today. I am forced to rethink of elementor because l needs to highlight my form block with color, shadow etc. As I cannot have plain landing page

I know elementor is not stable, but I made a landing page /personal-loan using it.

Only because it was simple and timesaving. I copied content of /personal-loan-first/, /pl-again in less than hour

In long run learning HTML only seems the viable option that will give me choice to customize and stability of WordPress.

Actually, I test Editor Plus on daily basis and I didn’t notice this slow down issue until now.

I will be thankful if you guided me on how to reproduce the issue on my local installation and I will investigate it immediately.

I understand that already stopped using Editor Plus and decided to use an alternative solution.

In all cases, please don’t hesitate to open a new ticket here if you need any help.

Hello, I have started to experience very similar issues editing my pages (as admin). Long pauses waiting for WordPress to respond with each edit/update.

Have thrifted out all plugins, cleared space on the server (now 40% of quota), but alas this fairly recent problem remains. Response for site users remains good, except for those wanting to login to restricted pages. The …/wp-login script takes ages to respond but does actually get there after 30 – 60sec. Same on various devices PC/iPad/iPhone …

Any ideas ? John
