• Hi,

    I am on CentOS release 6.7 (Final)
    2.6.32-573.12.1.el6.x86_64

    Apache details:
    Server version: Apache/2.2.27 (Unix)
    Server built: May 16 2014 05:05:30
    Cpanel::Easy::Apache v3.24.18 rev9999
    Server’s Module Magic Number: 20051115:33
    Server loaded: APR 1.5.0, APR-Util 1.5.3
    Compiled using: APR 1.5.0, APR-Util 1.5.3
    Architecture: 64-bit
    Server MPM: Worker
    threaded: yes (fixed thread count)
    forked: yes (variable process count)

    The wait time for the site is huge, like 20seconds for a simple wordpress page with few images.

    Cache is enabled, Reverse host look up and logformat has been corrected for %h variables.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

  • Have you checked server resource usage and the log files to see if you’re site is being repeatedly hit? Multiple login attempts, hits to xmlrpc.php, and other attacks can slow everything else.
