    Hi @sergecleantalk

I have noticed for a while now every time that I login to my hosting panel (Kinsta), something like this appears under the “Top average PHP + MySQL response time” and “Top maximum upstream time”:

    /?spbc_remote_call_token=XXXXXXX&spbc_remote_action=sfw_update&plugin_name=apbct&file_urls=https%3A%2Fapix3.cleantalk.org%2Fstore%2Fbl_list_XXXXXX.csv.gz

I guess this is to update the spam black list IPs and appears to happen every few hours?

This process can take 4, 5, 6 or more seconds. When I asked hosting support about this they said I should reach out to you as its slow…

Is there any way you can speed this up? I think it may also lead to max out PHP workers sometimes. Although I’m not sure about that, but either way it is slow. So anyway to speed it up?

    Thanks in Advance ??

    Hi @amagsumov / @sergecleantalk

Wondering if you had a chance to look into this?

I just logged into my hosting dashboard and I can see that this process is still at the top of our “Top average PHP + MySQL response time” and “Top maximum upstream time” lists with 6.25 seconds.

    Thanks in Advance ??

    Hello, @wanderingexplorer.

This is an update process of the SpamFireWall option via the remote calls. And it’s happening in the parallel process and doesn’t affect any visitors.

If you still want to make the process faster we can give the plugin version without the sleep methods, however, it may cause some inconsistency.
