We updated the Yoast Index multiple times via WP-CLI

We understand you are using the latest version of Yoast SEO for WordPress v16.0.2 and are encountering slow SQL queries on your website.

Could you check if you are on the latest version of WordPress 5.7 and are meeting the necessary plugin requirements?

Would it be possible for you to reset the indexables using the Yoast Test Helper plugin and re-run the process via WP-CLI?

• Please download the Yoast Test Helper plugin
• Go to your WP admin dashboard > Tools > Yoast Test > Yoast SEO > click on the ‘reset indexables tables & migrations’ button
• Please then do try to reindex using WP-CLI

Once the indexables process completes, could you then monitor and check if the same slow SQL queries still occur?

After installing Yoast Test Helper plugin and ‘reset indexables tables & migrations’ I got the message “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”

When I check the PHP error log I found the following

Could you check what version of Yoast SEO for WordPress you have on your website?

The Indexing_Helper was introduced in v15.3 of Yoast SEO. So if you are running a version of Yoast SEO that is older than 15.3, but the latest version of the Yoast Test Helper plugin v1.13, this could cause an issue when attempting to reset the indexables.

The latest version of Yoast SEO for WordPress is 16.0.2. Please do make sure you are on the latest version — https://yoast.com/help/how-can-i-update-my-free-plugin/

Could you then try to reset the indexables again with the Yoast Test Helper plugin, and then re-run it with WP-CLI and advise if this helps with the slow SQL queries?
