slow start on iphone

    things seem to work fine from a desktop browser. but, when loading the page 1 an iPhone from within Safari or Firefox, there is a long hesitation between the start of each song. And there is a long hesitation for the first song to start.it is so long that people will give up waiting.

    I have all of the file types included in the playlists.

    Actually I compared the desktop start speeds with your samples and even my desktop access is slower.

    I also notice that the first second (approximately) of each song does not play.

    I hop there is a solution for this. I like the look and feel and operation of the plugin.

    Does this happens in our demo also https://www.cssigniter.com/preview/audioigniter/ ?
    I noticed a small delay, this is probably because of the large file size of the music files? Are you using Mp3 or WAV files?

    There is a much smaller delay in your demo. The songs are much shorter than mine. Mine run anywhere from 4 to 10 minutes. They are mp3. Shouldn’t they start streaming right away? It almost seems as if the whole song has to download before playing begins.

    I am pretty sure the iphone is waiting for the whole file to download before starting to play.

    Glad you asked. We will update our plugin to behave more consistent in mobile or not. We are working on this now! I will keep you posted on this.
