Slow Stripe Payments

    Hello.

    I am using the Stripe payment gateway plugin and orders/payments go through, but they take around 15-20s to complete after payment info has been entered and confirmed.

    Paypal and all other payments work instantly.

    Any quick fixes for this issue, couldn’t see any other threads for slow payments.

    That’s strange – normally Stripe would be fast, i.e. 5-10 seconds.

    The best thing to do here is to check if the Stripe plugin is conflicting with other plugins or your theme.

    Issues like this may be caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin. You can read more about plugin and theme conflicts here:

    The best way to determine if the issue is being caused by a theme and/or plugin is to do the following:

    1. Temporarily switch your theme back to the Twenty Sixteen theme
    2. Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce and Stripe.
    3. Test to see if the issue has been resolved.

    If that resolves the issue, then slowly re-enable features until you find the one that’s causing the conflict.

    I’d also recommend taking a look at your PHP log to see if there’s anything there.

    Hello.

    I have tried doing this and when all plugins are deactivated it reduces the wait time to around 15 seconds?

    Can you advise if any of these plugins are known to conflict?
