Slow uploads

  • Hi,

    Has anyone else noticed that there gallery upload speed has massively reduced in recent weeks?

    I have no new plugins,everything else is up to date, good internet speed. It just seems to have slowed down all of a sudden?

    I haven’t had any issues with the upload speeds. Are you using FTP or from within the plugin?

    I was using the browser, but I am now using FTP. It still seems to be the same speed when it is processing the images.

    Ok, so you are meaning when the photos are being processed. This has everything to do with your host’s servers. It greatly depends on the resources of your server and if it is a shared or dedicated host.

    Shared hosting is always going to take sometime to process images, especially large files. This process is very resource intensive.

    buongiorno,ho caricato 50 gallerie con ftp,ogni galleria era composta da 300/600 file a 1600 px,tempo di caricamento di ogni galleria, da 5 a 15 minuti.
