Slow when publishing a new post

I have just moved my wordpress to a new host but its very slow only when publishing a new post but when updating or editing a post it is very fast. When you click the publish post you have to wait for at least 2minutes but in the meantime you can visit the website and find the article already published even though the dashboard is still loading.

Is there anything I can change to make it publish my articles much quicker.
