slowing down websites significantly

  • The free version of this plugin is wonderful and it has great potential for many new options to be added

    However, even when running in free manual mode i.e. adding 1-2 comments a day and no more than 10 a week, the rest of the plugin significantly slows down time and performance on the website even when the plugin is not in use
    Not certain if this has to do with paid cron features making API requests or what but would certainly appreciate if the free version was stripped from all other paid options so it can run smoothly
