When this plugin is enabled, the backend slows to a crawl, sometimes not loading at all with a “database connection” error. The front end seems okay.

I tried disabling the “Cache Enabler” plugin by KeyCDN that I’m using, that seemed to fix it, but I can’t be sure, as each time I make a change to the APCu Manager settings, it operates okay for a while, then this issue appears. So, could be a similar thing.

However, if this is the conflict, how can I make the two plugins play nice together?

I’m leaving Cache Enabler disabled for now.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hello!
    Sorry to hear that…
I’m not aware about APCu Manager / Cache Enabler incompatibility. I’m using both on some sites without problems. So I don’t think the problem comes from here…
Can you tell for how long APCu Manager is installed? Have you access to its analytics graphs? (and, so, can you give me some screenshots?)
    Thanks.

Sorry, I decided to switch to W3 Total Cache and set up APCu there.
