Hi there, thanks for the review. Just to clarify, for about 95% of all sites on Disqus, they are eligible for our non-commercial free plan which makes ads optional. More information here https://disqus.com/pricing/ We also notify site owners in advance before any ads appear on their site so they have ample time to select a plan option that works for them. Anyhow, I appreciate your feedback and will let the team know.

your business model is completely wrong. it will lead webmasters to abandon disqus.

I am using google adsense and I barely make $30 a month. (which makes me disqualified for the %95 you’re mentioning about)

you should put features such as image upload, mentioning, comment search, message subscription to a $10/year advanced disqus version and that’s it.

who gave you the idea to put ads into people’s sites? worst idea of all times. I am %100 sure you will step away from this decision or you’ll end bankrupted.

@jdembowski are you serious? I thought it was more ethical than leaving backlink. ok people, go to my wordpress profile and click the link if you wonder how I solved the discus issue by switching to native wordpress comments and a simple but powerful plugin.

If you had left a back link then that would have been redacted. You understand that; why do you think is different from “Google me via-“?
