    The plugin just slows down my site. If I turn debug on, it throws a ton of errors. Lines 30-51 of this file: class-wc_venmo_gateway.php

    Could you copy the errors here or email them to [email protected] so they can be fixed.

    The Venmo link payment method shouldn’t slow down the site since it doesn’t connect with any external resources. The Pay with Venmo option requests data from PayPal through their API so some resources have to wait for when PayPal makes them available.

    But that file is unrelated to the Venmo button by PayPal. Looking forward to checking what’s wrong when you send the errors

    They all seem to be deprecated notices. Those are notices and won’t affect your site flow. But they have been added to future versions upgrades. Also make sure to have the latest version of the plugin.

    Our payment plugins add content to the checkout page so they won’t affect much on other pages. I was unable to see your checkout page to run tests since it is locked.

    To track what is affecting your page speed, we recommend plugins like Query Monitor or use Google PageSpeed or GTMetrix to see what requests are taking a long time.
