Slows (to 5 minutes) dawn also my basic pages.

  • I activated an account with TranslatePress 12 hours ago, I used the Deeple free account to do the translations, after these 12 hours my free bundle of 500,000 characters has already been used for 350,000 characters. The navigation info bar with word translated as timestamp with +- 1000 characters for each translated message and also unreadable for the visitor of the website.

    I am currently still investigating whether I can make adjustments here and there, but as it looks now, the translation service is not profitable for a dynaUpdatemic content site
    The basic language also only loads with a 5 minute delay.

    Update: `Because my page has a very active blog post program, translatepress does not work properly. Every time I load the homepage it is unnecessarily translated too much and the original foreign language is translated again with wrong texts both with deeple and with Google translator. The Urls are almost never not translated in the slug! the loading time gets to 5 minutes every time a new post appears, and this happens at least once every minute.

    In my opinion, Translatepress is therefore not useful for sites with a lot of context to be translated, but it is recommended for smaller sites with a few posts.

    The translation service uses approx. 200€ per 3rd day for machine translations, so unprofitable given the short age of the messages on the front page.

    Finally, customers are flocking to the site because of the delays.`

    Due to the variety of plugins from the WP market, peculiar conflicts may appear from time to time as TranslatePress interacts with all the plugins that bring any changes to the front-end.
    The timestamp should not be translated but, without a preliminary investigation, we cannot know exactly what the problem is in your case.

    That being said, I can assure you that we are working on resolving them as quickly as possible, and I invite you to write us a support ticket on the premium form where either I or a colleague of mine will look into the above and investigate the source of the problem.
