Slug for archives?

    Is it possible to have a slug that shows all sermons for a given year / month / day
    by using the same slugs as archives do?

    For example:
    mysite.com/sermons/2015 –> shows all sermons for 2015
    mysite.com/sermons/2015/04 –> shows all sermons for April 2015

    etc….

  • Just thinking out loud here. If you want to show a particular time frame, use ?post_type=wpfc_sermon. As an example, if you want to display all sermons in 2015: mysite.com/sermons/2015/?post_type=wpfc_sermon.

    You can use a plugin to display the sermon archives as well. Something like https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/clean-my-archives/. Using the custom post_type wpfc_sermon, you can display all sermons: [clean-my-archives post_type="wpfc_sermon"].

    Using the ‘archive’ url and adding the post_type parameter worked! Thanks!
