slug for “HOME” not showing correctly

    Hi,

    i have created https://www.djdaniel.ch using Elementor Pro and I am using the free Yoast SEO version to change the slug for each of my pages.

    I have changed the slug for HOME (the main landing page) as follows:

    dj-daniel-party-dj-event-dj-fuer-events-firmenfeier-weihnachtsparties-hochzeiten

    but normally it only shows my homepage without any slug. Like this https://www.djdaniel.ch – This is absolutely fine.

    Now a friend of mine sent me picture showing my landing page with following slug:

    djdaniel.ch/?fbclid=IwAR3RAjblkV9uJ8evQy4aYfnthFWsnlPqtMKRwF10S2Rw55TUTD_NlqG8pvw

    According to google analytics, this kind of slug is quite often showing up. Anybody know what could be wrong and how to solve his issue? Is there something I can change?

  • Hi,

    The fbclid part of the link likely stands for FaceBook CLick IDentifier (fbclid). The numbers and letters after that are some kind of Facebook tracking code. Either Facebook is adding it or some other plugin or theme is adding it. This is unrelated to Yoast so our ability to support this issue is limited.

    To resolve the issue we suggest the following:

    1. If you are using some kind of Facebook plugin on your site, we suggest contacting the plugin’s authors for more information.

    2.If you are using some kind of tracking or analytics plugin on your site, to contact those authors as well.

    3. Contacting Facebook.?You can contact Facebook here:?https://www.facebook.com/support/.

    We will also keep this open for 5 days in case someone else from the community can chime in with some other information after which we will close in order to keep the overview.
