    Hey,

just get used to awesomesupport. Really love that plugin and we will need a few add-ons. But first, I have to set up everything ??

    Our problem:
Woocommerce permalink setting for products is /shop/

Awesomesupport also needs a slug for products. If I use the same /shop/ I get an error 404 when trying to show the products. If I let the field empty, it converts the slug to /Produkt/.

I want to use /shop/ slug for all products. How can I manage this?

    thanks

Hi – you should use a different slug for our products than the one you use for WC. They are different things and references different things in WP sometimes.

    Thanks.

    Thanks for the information.

The slug in woocommerce is overwriten by your slug.

    Setting woocommerce: /shop/
    Setting awesomesupport /awesome-product/

then the URL will look like: /awesome-product/productname

But I want the woocommerce settings used. ??

    Hi:

Do you have product syncing turned on in TICKETS->SETTINGS->PRODUCTS MANAGEMENT? If so, can you turn it off and then go to your WordPress Permalinks screen and click the save button there (it refreshes WP permalinks).

    Thanks.

    Yes, syncing is on.

I turned it off and refreshed the permalinks – but it doesn’t change anything.
Why is awesomesupport using/overwriting the woocommerce slug?

Hope we get that fixed, so I can use your plugin!

    Hi:

I can’t say for sure why that is happening so unfortunately I don’t have a solution for you right now.

We have a PRODUCTS taxonomy attached to tickets and WooCommerce has a PRODUCTS custom post type of its own. They should be independent items but maybe WP is having a hard time distinguishing between the two under certain circumstances.

    Thanks.

    Hi @leiti,

This issue would be good to add to our GitHub issues repo for review by the developers. Here’s the link to detail your issue and follow progress: https://github.com/Awesome-Support/Awesome-Support/issues

Let me know if you need anything else.
