I see that two people have already had this problem here. I went to Settings > permalinks and re-saved, but that didn’t help. I already had my links set to post name. I really DO NOT want to have to reinstall wordpress to get this working.

When I put in a slug, the view page button link looks like this: https://ktempestbradford.com/wp-admin/links

Even though it’s supposed to look like: https://ktempestbradford.com/links

Either way, I still get an Oops, Sorry Not Found error.

Any other tips for fixing this bug?

    Hi @ktb1000

What is the version of Linky?

My test with Linky and Amadeus theme : https://erraticcobweb.s3-tastewp.com/links/

Can you re-save Settings > Permalinks and test again?

Unfortunately still not working. I have the URL in linky set to: https://ktempestbradford.com/test

But all my site does is redirect to: https://ktempestbradford.com/blog

Sometimes it adds /wp-admin/ and sometimes not on the backend. Either way, it doesn’t seem to register Linky as a real page.

    Hi @ktb1000

I tested your site, the problem comes from the plugin “Permalink Redirect”. Without it, Linky page works.

This plugin are not available in WordPress catalog, does it really serve you?

@undefinedfr ah ha! Thank you! That is there because I changed the URL of my site last year. I’ll see if it’s still needed. Much appreciated.

@undefinedfr I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/guidelines/#the-bad-stuff

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us escalating this to the plugins team.

It’s never necessary to do that. Here’s why.

There are many ways to get information you need and accessing the user’s site is not one of them. That’s going too far.

    You get the idea.

Volunteer support is not easy. But these forums need to a safe place for all users, experienced or new. Accessing their system that way is a short cut that will get you into real trouble in these forums.
