Small icon for specific posts depending on category…

Hi,

I would like to small icon to to show up for specific posts depending in wich category they are posted… Meaning : If I posts a video in category ‘videos’ and the video is a ‘recent post’, then I would like for instance a small ‘video icon’ to be presented in the ‘recent posts’ lists in front of the entry…

Actually then it means that the ‘recent posts’ list holds a list of well, recent posts and that the reader can identify the entries by means of the small icons quickly …

Also, how can I let the recent posts list also display the category name that the entry is living in ?

Are there any plugs for the above questions ? Is there a way ?
