Smarter link to redirect users properly

I’m not sure if this is the right place to do this, but I’d like to propose a slight change on the link provided at WP Social Chat.
Instead of this:
https://web.whatsapp.com/send?phone=5500987654321&text=Text_from_messageDrawback: Forces people that has the Desktop App installed to use the Web version anyway.
How about use this:
https://wa.me/5500987654321?text=Text_from_messageBenefit: This is the Official shorter tool by WhatsApp that identifies if the person has the Desktop App and redirects correctly to the App (if installed) or fallbacks to the Web version. (it actually redirects to this URL that gets the job done ? https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=5500987654321&text=Text_from_message&source=&data=&app_absent=)
I don’t know if this is a bug report or a feature request, but this might help all people that access the plugin via computers. ??
