Smartphone theme not correctly updated

  • Hi,

    I’m encountering a strange issue. I’ve modified my theme to use the well-known Hestia. It works perfectly well with the desktop version. However, it seems that the mobile theme was not updated to the Hestia theme (even if it says so). When I’m previewing the mobile version and switching from theme to theme nothing change. It’s always the same displayed.

    Furthermore, when I’m previewing the desktop version, and I switch to the smartphone screen size using the button at the bottom. It’s the way I want it to be on a smartphone.

    Does somebody know how to set up the theme for mobile phone?

  • Can you please post a link to your site? I installed Hestia on my sandbox site, and when I view it on my cell phone, it looks fine. It looks the same as taking the desktop browser and narrowing it in width to a cell phone.

    Which theme is that?

    It’s the Hestia theme.

    My guess is that there’s a separate plugin installed that is being used to display a mobile version that is different from the active theme.
