I have customized all of the email messages, and instead of {{username}} in the greeting, I am using {{first_name}}.

This works FINE for the “Awaiting Admin Approval Email” – it shows the person’s first name in the email (“Hi, Andrea -“) but in both the “Registration Approved Email” and “Registration Denied Email”, the smart tag tokens are NOT parsed – I am left with a greeting that says “Hi, {{first_name}} -” in the email.

Can you please check the parser on the other emails and make sure they are doing the right thing?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello again,

Currently smart tags doesnot work for status changing emails. It only works for all the emails sent during registration. However, we are looking forward for implementing this to all the emails.

However, smart tags for username and email should work for every email.

    Thanks,

OK, thanks. Yeah, sure would be nice to be able to use all the tags when you implement that.

    Hello again,

Now the smart tags will be available for status changing emails too. Please update the plugin and let us know if you have any issues.

    Thanks!
