I’m getting this error and don’t know how to fix. Please help. I’m using the most update version, I got it install without no hitches but now I can not get it to bridge with my SMF forum.
Here is the error I’m getting:

    WP_SMF Bridge and Integration

Warning: require_once(/home/c4allpar/public_html/forum/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/WP_SMF/smf_api_1.1.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/c4allpar/public_html/forum/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wp_smf/wp_smf.php on line 956

  • its telling you the problem, it cannot find that file.

    Does this file exist?????

    wp-content/plugins/WP_SMF/smf_api_1.1.php

    Thats your problem.

It shows up in the folder under wp_smf, or do I have to place it somewhere else…its there.

    https://4allparents.com/forum/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wp_smf/

It shows up there. thats not WP_SMF

Note the caps. See if capitalizing the directory name doesnt fix your problem.

Ok I did that. Now its asking for this:

Enter the path to the main folder which contains your SMF Forum installation below.

    where do I find that???

I’m just learning how to do this…please bear with the stupid questions.

so youre telling me that your problem above is solved? Right?

Now you want help with setting up the plugin???

    Did you read the readme???

    Its right here:

    https://www.earthorbit.com/opensource/Readme.txt

The path to your install is in your first post:

    /home/c4allpar/public_html/forum/

whether or not it wants the closing / I dont know. If you have further trouble, you may need to contact the author or start another thread.. since this one, atleast the one it started out as, is resolved.

    PS: Youre welcome ??
