SMF WP plugin does not have a valid header.

  • Trying to install a WF & SMF plugin but keep getting this message:
    The plugin does not have a valid header.
    It installs and says it is active but it does not appear in the plugins list. I have to manually delete it but I cannot install it from a direct ftp upload, because it isn’t recognized.
    Help appreciated.
