Smooth Slider ie problem

  • I’m having a problem in which, the smooth slider plugin only slides once when you go to or refresh the page. Then is stops and becomes totally static.
    This holds true no matter what I set the interval speed to.
    This is only the case in ie. It seems to work fine in firefox.

  • Slider works for me a few cycles in IE8, but throws an error in the jquery 1.4.1 library.

    But also you don’t have a full doctype declaration in header.php, and that may be throwing IE into quirks mode.

    Also, in Safari, the menu is half buried under the top edge of the slider image; might have something to do with the site description code you commented out. Should use a display:none on that.
