• This is just to save anyone else the wasted hour it took me to figure this out. I had recently updated an old WP install and took all plugins to their latest versions. The latest of Hyper Cache and Smooth Slider are NOT compatible. And it was quite difficult to figure out at first, because the first page load was always formatted correctly, where the second (cached) page would always not render and stack all images on top of each other (because the footer script for SS were being left out of the cached version for some reason, even though other plugin scripts were fine). Anyway, hope this helps someone else!

    Dear Stephen

I just tested the recent version of Smooth Slider with the latest copy of the Hyper Cache plugin and didn’t find such compatibility issue. The slider is running perfectly fine as you can see on our lab site – https://lab.webfanzine.com/smooth-slider-demo/

I would request you to kindly take a look and see if any other plugin causing issue or the theme itself. If you can share your webpage URL where the issue is appearing, we may investigate from our end too.

    Waiting for your response.
