Smoother fade-in?

Hey there,
I’ve tested this plugin and it works great. There is only one thing that I could find: the fade-in option isn’t smooth / too fast.
If you compare to example: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
Possible to make it as smooth as that?
