SMS Sender Name

    Hi guys;

    if we buy a “miniOrange SMS/SMTP Gateway – WP OTP VERIFICATION” licence, and using MiniOrange’s SMS Gateway, can we show the customers our company name as the sender.

    I’d like to have, for example :

    Sender : “DeepHouseDigital”
    Message : “Your OTP code : 123456”

    Is it possible?

    We are happy to help you with your queries.

    Customization of the Sender ID with miniOrange is possible if customers have opted for the Your Gateway Plan.

    In miniOrange SMS/SMTP Gateway plan, customization of Sender ID is not supported with the miniOrange Gateway Plan as it can result in abuse, by using it as a tool for spamming and spoofing. For this reason, miniOrange has provided its customers with an option to use their own SMS gateway with the plugin.
