• Hello,

I have a question about the OTP SMS 2 factor authentication for paid Rublon subscriptions. I have many subscriber wordpress users that are not permitted to view the admin area of wordpress. I have mobile numbers stored for these specific users in a meta field called “mobile_number” associated with their user. Can I key in on that field for Rublon to use as their mobile number?

    Thank you for your help.

I realized that possibly the mobile number is saved by the user upon their first sign in, is that correct?

If that is the case then the user does not actually need to see the admin area to get the two factor auth working.

    Hi tnschmidt,

Please contact us at our official support email address, as we’re not able to provide support on this website (our reply to you has just been removed by a www.ads-software.com moderator).

    Kind regards,

@rublon I’ve replied in another topic to you and you should have gotten that email.

Please lose the signature and keep plugin support here. You can take support to your own site if you want, but make sure not to ask for back end access of the users site such as a WordPress login to their site or other back end access.

That’s not safe for the user and exposes you to liability when you do that. I mention that because some plugin authors send users to their site for support to bypass restrictions here and that’s not cool.

@jdembowski Thank you for voicing your concerns. The reason why we ask users and customers to contact us via our support email address is that our support team uses a dedicated support tool to answer all tickets. This allows us to keep track of response times and support agent performance. We do not have processes in place for our plugin’s support section on www.ads-software.com because there is not much happening here. Thank you for your understanding.
