SMS Text Message Plugin => My Version

  • Hi all,

    I’ve modified the plugin, indented the code correctly in the main page, added a lot more carriers and kept the essential. However, I can’t make it work to send a message through the plugin to my phone. On the other hand, I’m doing the same function (simplified) on a blank page and it’s working.

    Could someone test my version of sms text message please and give me some feedback about it and if they can reveive message on their cell phone ?

    Good thing you can just use the Flash GUI designer, huh? Then you don’t have to worry about pesky things like logic, etc.

    That’s quite a long list you have up there. Is there a reason you can’t do them yourself since you’re so good?

    gee, I wonder. I am superb with decompiling flash, and I can write actionscript fairly well. I should leech that, decompile it, and steal it.

    dude, your a thief, face it, and if you werent, this thread wouldnt be here, and you wouldnt have removed every mention of hom from what is HIS work, not yours.

    I am simply amazed, so amazed i may actually, for once, be speechless. editing a plugin to change things for your own use == fine.

    removing all mention of the original author, and replacing everything that links back to him, with your info, and then making it publicly available == thats theft, plain and simple.

    i also dont know if you are aware of those, but per American copyright law, he owns the copyright to that work — he published it. That might not mean a lot to you up there.. but thats the law here.

    If I would have let his information there, it wouldn’t have been correct too I guess ? Because the mods weren’t done by him ? […moderated…]
