    Is this similar to the request for DKIM support that was in this thread about a month ago?

    I think that, yes, it is similar and might solve that particular issue as well. I say this as I’ve achieved success, even sending to gmail, with one of the SMTP Authentication plugins.

    I was thinking that including an SMTP Auth preference inside of Email Users was a natural fit.

    And you are correct that DKIM is beyond the scope of what wp_mail() can do.
