SMTP connect() failed – godaddy – Office 365

I installed my WordPress website into my godaddy hosting account and everything went easily and fine. When I came to the email part I faced an issue in using ” Easy WP SMTP ” plugin as I tried everything to configure it with my godaddy Office 365 email to send the emails through it and still it showing the following error:

SMTP connect() failed. https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer/wiki/Troubleshooting

# This is my configuration for this plugin:
– From Email Address: info@my_domain_name.com
– From Name: Test
– SMTP Host: smtp.office365.com
– Type of Encription (Non or SSL or TLS): TLS
– SMTP Port: 587
– SMTP Authentication (Yes or No): Yes
– SMTP username: info@my_domain_name.com
– SMTP Password: (email password)

Please help me in finalizing this error as I am stuck in this part only and it is the most important part in my website.

I need a clear explanation for such an error as I read too much about this error from many sources with no benefit. All tests were useless
