Smtp error

    Hi,

    I setup Easy WP SMTP with right information mail.gandi.net, Port 587, TLS, user, pwd … and the error message from Easy WP SMTP is SMTP “ERROR: Failed to connect to server: Connection timed out (110)SMTP connect() failed.”

    I set port 587 and 110 is used in steadof !?

    Settings :
    – Version de WordPress : 5.1.1
    – Version de PHP/MySQL : 7.3.2 / 5.6.33
    – Thème utilisé : karilo
    – Extensions en place : Akismet Anti-Spam (4.1.1), Antispam Bee (2.9.1), Calculated Fields Form (1.0.289), Contact Form 7 (5.1.1),
    – Adresse du site : https://hydroturbine.info
    – Nom de l’hébergeur : Apache

    SMTP smtp.gmail.com:25 Open
    SMTP smtp.gmail.com:587 Open
    SMTP smtp.gmail.com:465 Open
    SMTP smtp.gmail.com:2525 Close
    SMTP smtp.gmail.com:4065 Close
    SMTP smtp.gmail.com:25025 Close

    SMTP mail.gandi.net:25 Close
    SMTP mail.gandi.net:587 Close
    SMTP mail.gandi.net:465 Close
    SMTP mail.gandi.net:2525 Close
    SMTP mail.gandi.net:4065 Close
    SMTP mail.gandi.net:25025 Close

    If I test using phpmailer, mail is sent.

    Where to search : web host ? email hosting ? wordpress ?

    Hi,

    The problem came from the host firewall.
    By opening TCP port 587 to mail.gandi.net (output), the problem was solded.
