SMTP Error: Could not authenticate (EasyWP Hosting)

    I have a feeling the problem is on my hosting end, I’m regretting EasyWP as my hosting company but thought I’d reach out here as well. I’m trying to send a contact form, they disable PHP mail by default on their end.

    After I setup all the credentials including the mail.mydomain.com information and try to send a test mail I get this error:

    CLIENT -> SERVER: EHLO easywp.com
    SMTP ERROR: EHLO command failed: SMTP NOTICE: EOF caught while checking if connectedSMTP Error: Could not authenticate.SMTP Error: Could not authenticate.

    It looks like the request doesn’t get past the EasyWP server. Any ideas?
